“I know for myself that if I drive for 5th or 6th [place], you get pretty grumpy with yourself,” he explains.
“So it’s always about performance. I mean, everybody knows that, Toto [Wolff] knows that too.”

Asked if he thought it was strange that Wolff was being publicly presented as a potential replacement for Lewis Hamilton, he replied: “No, because I think everyone should always be optimistic and hopeful about things.”
