Hamilton: The car is now much easier to drive

The seven-time world champion was satisfied after two training sessions, but points out that there is still room for improvement.
“The feeling was good and this was not a bad start to the weekend. It’s a big difference compared to last year and the car is much livelier now. We understand much better what we have in this car and now the preparation for the weekend is better. All we have to do is make minor changes in the settings and that greatly simplifies our work. I think I didn’t get the most out of the qualifying pace test and there is still time. It’s hard to say what the race pace is. We had the car tuned for one fast lap and that certainly didn’t help. I certainly expect us to be in the competition, maybe not for victory, but for placing in the top 5 for sure”, said Hamilton.
