Mercedes confirmed that it is bringing new parts to Austin

The German team wants to be more competitive at the very end of the season.
After victories in Austria, Great Britain and the Netherlands, the team from Berkeley entered a series of worse results, where they are now fighting again for some of the places on the podium. That’s why their W15 needs new parts to be in the competition for the top again.

“As you know the specification of the car is always evolving, we are always trying to get the best performance at every race.” said Andrew Solvin, Head of Racing Engineering for GPBlog. “The second part of the race (in Azerbaijan) was much better for us. The first stint is not. It’s nice to reach the podium. It’s good to see that no one was hurt in the incident. It was a terrible incident considering the situation and the fact that everyone around them was still racing. But, as I said, we still have a lot of work to do. We are currently focused on bringing a bigger package for Austin and we are entering the final six races of the year, we are also working on some smaller things, but it is clear that we are currently preparing this bigger package for that race in Austin.”
