Hamilton will bring a winning mentality to Ferrari

New Haas driver Oliver Beraman says seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton will bring a winning mentality to his arrival at Ferrari.

Before the start of the current season, the motorsport world was in disbelief when the information arrived that the seven-time world champion decided to change the team with which he won six titles.

Signing for Ferrari was a major turning point in the Briton’s career. In the 2023 season, cooperation with Mercedes was extended. However, there was a clause in his signing that he could leave after one year.

It was this item that was the turning point for Hamilton to move to the team that he later said was his childhood dream. Although it was initially said that the contract was signed for two years, it was learned that it was longer, as revealed by the Ferrari boss.

The seven-time champion wants to win the title with the Italian team, and thus set a new record in the history of Formula 1. His arrival also caused some comments regarding his teammate.

Oliver Bearman, who caught the attention of the motorsport world after jumping from Formula 2 car to SF24 to replace Carlos Sainz due to intestinal inflammation, gave his view on Hamilton’s arrival at Ferrari.

The young Briton, who will share the grid with the seven-time champion, believes that the record holder in victories and pole positions, is confident that he will bring a winning mentality to Maranello.

“He will bring a lot of experience to the team. He’s won seven world championships, something not many can boast of,” said Bearman of Hamilton’s arrival at Ferrari.

“He will bring a good mentality to the team, a winning mentality, and his talent is undeniable. He’s one of the best ever.”

“It’s fantastic that he can share his experience with me. I hope to learn a lot from him, and I hope Ferrari will too, because I think he will be a valuable asset to the team,” added the new Haas driver.
