2024 Ford Shelby F-150 Boasts 785 Supercharged Horsepower, Builds on Shelby American’s Legacy of Performance Vehicles

Executives with Shelby American, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc. (CSBI:PK), is continuing to build on its legacy of performance vehicles with the new 2024 Ford Shelby F-150 super truck. Limited to only 800 trucks for the 2024 model year, production of the wicked fast pickup has started and will be available for purchase beginning this summer. Based on Ford’s Lariat trim F-150 4×4 SuperCrew, the lifted Shelby truck starts at $130,000 with an optional supercharged* version starting at $139,995 that boasts 785 horsepower**.

“Our 2024 Shelby F-150 lives up to its namesake and honors Carroll’s commitment to building high-powered, high-fun vehicles,” said Gary Patterson, president of Shelby American. “As a native Texan, Carroll loved roaming his East Texas ranch in trucks and SUVs, almost as much as he loved racing around the track. His attitude toward driving everything fun is flowing through our new 2024 Shelby F-150. It boasts all the power you need to tow your boat to the lake or enjoy some off-road fun, as well as get cleaned up for a fancy night in the city.”

The 2024 Shelby F-150 is a noteworthy successor of the 2023 model bearing the same name. Built on the 2024 model year Ford Lariat 4×4, 5.0L SuperCrew with 400 standard horsepower, the 2024 Shelby supercharger option nearly doubles the V8 engine to 785 horsepower. It rides on a FOX 2.5 factory race series shock system with internal bypass shock technology, adjustable dual speed controls, performance rear traction bars, and Shelby by BDS 3-inch lift system. It is shod with 22-inch Shelby alloy wheels wrapped in 35-inch premium all-terrain tires. The throaty exhaust comes from the Shelby by Borla CAT-back exhaust.

“It’s been an incredible journey to watch this 2024 Shelby F-150 take on life as it evolved from an engineering spec sheet to the first build,” said Vince LaViolette, Shelby American Vice President of Operations and Chief Designer. “Over the last year, we’ve continued to invest in the latest performance engineering and technology to ensure this truck is worthy of the Shelby badge. The real fun happens on the test drives when our team gets to the push the performance capabilities, ensuring it’s a truck that Carroll would be proud to drive.”

The truck’s upgraded Shelby spec interior features a carbon fiber aesthetic trim kit, billet racing pedals, embroidered floor mats, and serialized console plaque. The exterior includes a Shelby dual intake hood, body color fender flares, power running board with rock guard trim and entry lights, and Shelby striping and badges.

A total of 800 of the 2024 Shelby F-150 trucks will be built for the US market and will be available for purchase internationally through Shelby Authorized Distributors. Starting MSRP for the truck is $130,000 (naturally aspirated) and $139,995 for the optional supercharged version (supercharged); they have a 3 year/36,000-mile warranty including powertrain.

Each purchase of the Shelby pickup includes membership in Team Shelby, the worldwide club established in 2008, and will be eligible for documentation in the official Shelby Registry.
