After three years of playing for Williams this season, George Russell got the opportunity to drive for the Mercedes factory team, where he replaced Valtteri Bottas. Despite such a good opportunity, the Briton does not want to think about the title.
This new driver of the team had a great start on the test in Barcelona, where he completed 209 laps and had the second fastest time during all three days. In front of him was only Lewis Hamilton.
“To be honest, that’s not something I’m thinking about right now.” Russell told F1 com. He added that he is currently preparing in the same way as when he did it in Williams and that he will not change his further approach. “So, work on the process and worry about everything afterwards”
