Prior-Design Volkswagen Golf GTI Widebody

The new Volkswagen Golf GTI is a fantastic hatchback, but some believe that it still has a subtle look that makes it not significantly different from the “weaker” models. There might be a solution for them, and that is the idea of Prior Design.

Prior Design has released renders and videos showing a bodykit designed for the eighth-generation Golf GTI, which transforms the look of Germany’s powerful hatchback.
Modifications start ahead where Prior Desing has installed a new front bumper and elongated splitter. The most obvious changes are the extended wheel arches that make the GTI look aggressive. There’s also a new set of rims, and the car is noticeably lowered.

Prior Design has continued the changes back to where the new bumper, more aggressive diffuser and roof spoiler are now.
It is not yet known if and when Prior Desing will produce and offer customers this fantastic body kit and at what price.

The standard Golf GTI is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo petrol that develops 242 hp and 370 Nm of torque. Those who want more power can choose the GTI Clubsport which delivers 296 hp and 400 Nm of torque.
