Japanese media write that a new generation of sports sedan Subaru WRX should appear at the end of this year.
According to current information, the car will be 50 mm longer, 50 mm wider, 25 mm lower, and will have a 20 mm longer wheelbase.
The engine should be a 2.4-liter turbo with 287hp, while the future WRX STI will have 394hp.
Also, the package will include a six-speed manual and CVT transmission, as well as all-wheel drive.
Of course, all this is accompanied by a new look (“Dynamic x Solid” design dictionary), an exhaust system with four exhaust pipes, sports-tuned suspension, a stronger braking system, a modern interior and numerous assistance systems.
The first deliveries of the new Subaru WRX are expected in early 2022.
