At the beginning it should be recalled that the current generation of Focus had the world premiere at the 2010 NAIAS Motor Show in Detroit, while the redesigned version was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in early March 2014.

In any case, the new Focus will be about 50 kg lighter than the current generation, and will receive a longer wheelbase, a spacious interior with more seats for rear passengers, and a larger volume boot (the Focus caravan will cost 550 liters in the basic configuration). Also, a number of security and driver assistance systems will be offered.
In addition to the hatchback with 5 doors and caravans, there will also be a limousine.
The offer will round out sports ST and RS variants (Focus RS with 2.3 liter ECoBosst engine and 48-volt mild-hybrid system with a total of 400 hp), as well as luxurious Focus Vignale and (pro) field Focus Active with elevated clearance and additional protection elements on the exterior.
The new Focus sedan should be about 465 cm long and have a wheelbase of 270 cm
In the gamma we can expect more petrol and diesel engines, amongst others 1.0L and 1.5L EcoBoost, as well as 1.5L EcoBlue and 2.0L EcoBlue aggregates. Also, for some information, customers will also be offered a 8-speed automatic. Production of the new Focus in the Saarlouis factory in Germany will begin in June, while more information is just followed.
