The German team wants to welcome the beginning of 2022 in better shape than it was last year.
The Italian branch of the motorsport portal reports that the W13 car will have a new turbocharger.
The biggest credit for that goes to the unnamed new German engineer who works with the team, while the fuel supplier Petronas has worked hard on the new fuel and it is expected that it will bring about twenty more horsepower.
In addition, the team worked hard on reliability, especially after numerous problems that arose in the second half of last season. Hamilton used two engines more than allowed without penalties during the season, while Bottas changed the engine three times.
The German team will present the new car on February 18, after which it will immediately conduct an initial test of all systems at Silverstone.
