Max Verstappen on moving to Ferrari: Never say never

The current world champion in Formula 1, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, answered the question about a possible move to Ferrari.
The Dutchman is the leader in the general standings six races before the end of the season and could defend his title on October 2nd in Singapore.

“At the moment, my contract with Red Bull lasts until 2028 and I am very happy to be where I am now. But as they say, never say never. I have a good relationship with Ferrari and
who knows what will happen after 2028. Maybe I won’t be in Formula 1 at all,” said 24-year-old Verstappen, who celebrated in the past five races.

The Italian publication “Auto Moto” recently reported that Max Verstappen’s father was already interested in Ferrari’s plans for the future.

The Dutchman has been in Formula 1 since 2016, and last year he became world champion for the first time in his career by beating Lewis Hamilton in the last race of the season.
Verstappen leads the overall standings with 335 points, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc has 219, and Sergio Perez has 210.
