Manhart is a German tuning company known for increasing the performance of already extremely fast and powerful vehicles. He has just unveiled his latest creation based on the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio – the Manhart Giulia QV600.
Although the name suggests that the Manhart project produces 600 hp, it is actually more powerful than that. The tuner installed new exhaust pipes with 200-cell sports catalysts, while the 2.9-liter V6 got a pair of new and larger turbochargers.
The treatment resulted in 653 hp and 790 Nm of torque, which is a significant gain over the standard 510 hp and 600 Nm of torque. Power is still transmitted to the rear wheels thanks to the eight-speed automatic transmission. And while the Giulia QV600 is undoubtedly faster than the standard Giulia Quadrifoglio, the German tuner did not reveal details about acceleration and top speed.
Although Manhart rated the standard brakes sufficient for extra power, the suspension has been adjusted, reducing ride height. There’s also a new set of 20-inch wheels, which stand out with a yellow outer rim, wrapped in 255/30 tires at the front and 295/25 at the rear.
A novelty from Manhart is the unique livery that includes matte black racing stripes with yellow details, which can be found on both the front grille and the rear diffuser. Manhart plans to have only 10 copies of the special Giulia, priced at 119,500 euros per piece.
