Lewis Hamilton has already stated that he wants a new contract with Mercedes, but now the seven-time world champion has added that he wants it to be more of an annual collaboration. The Briton joined the team from Berkeley in 2013, from McLaren, and so far he has managed to record as many as six championship trophies.

“I think it will be a multi-year contract. Now there’s this whole retirement thing being mentioned, but honestly it’s always bothered me and I don’t want to go there yet. We still have a lot of work to do as a team, as individuals with the team to give a lot to this sport and I want to be a part of all of this.” Hamilton told Formula1 com
Also, he has even bigger goals.
“We have to get more wins.” added the Mercedes driver.
