The British driver is convinced that he will fight for the championship this season as well.
Lewis Hamilton believes that the new rules will not stop his team from marching on another title, because, as he himself said, Mercedes does not make such mistakes. He currently sees no reason why the German team would not be at the top as they have won eight constructive titles in a row so far.
“Of course there is always a risk, but we do not make such mistakes.” Hamilton told Formula1 com during the second day of the test in Barcelona.
He added that even if they have a bad start, Mercedes can still make a difference in the end:
“We can go through that, too.” said the Briton.
