Another “movie star” of the Subaru WRX was posted on ads, this time a copy from the movie “Kingsman: The Secret Service”
It seems that the Subaru WRX has become a very popular car in movies lately. The most popular is the one with the conversion to the last drive from the “Baby Driver”, whose two copies have already been sold. The lesser-known Subaru WRX is the one that appeared in the movie “Kingsman: The Secret Service”. The yellow WRX from this movie appeared on the auction site eBay, and with it comes a very interesting story. As can be seen in the accompanying pictures, this is not a common Subaru WRX. Although viewed from the outside, with closed doors, it looks like any other WRX, this copy covers two great secrets. 
If you open the boot lid, a boxer unit will welcome you. If you open the car door, you will be welcomed by two separate controls – one in the normal (for England) on the right side, and the other on the front passenger side of the rear bench. Those who watched the movie probably already know what it is about. For those who have not watched, there is an explanation. In one of the scenes, the main character runs from the police driving the WRX into a reverse, high speed, a very narrow street. 
Instead of filming the scene really backwards, the filmmakers allegedly “cut off” the body of the WRX, rotated it by 180 degrees, and thus returned it to the lower unit. This means that the steering wheel located on a normal (again, for England) site is actually just an ornament. The right driver’s seat, steering wheel, pedals, and gear shifter are actually those that are facing the WRX trunk. The seller states that this is STI Spec D, and that it has various improvements on the aggregate, as well as a welded protective cage. Although advertised on eBay, the car is not auctioned.
