Road Test TV : 1/4 mile drag race between a stock Dodge Demon and a stock SRT Hellcat… on the same track, on the same day… at the same time. Since the weather was terrible, it affected both cars equally. The Demon’s 6.2L Supercharged V8 makes 840 Horsepower and 770 lb-ft of Torque. The Hellcat is also powered by a Supercharged 6.2 Liter V8 which makes 707 Horsepower and 650 lb-ft of Torque. The Hellcat has drag radials as does the Demon. The Demon comes with Drag Radial from the factory whereas it’s a mod on a Hellcat. The weather was hot and humid at No Problem Dragway in Louisiana with a DA of +1800 feet. The Demon is brand new and the owner did not to use the TransBrake to launch the car. Just imagine what the Demon will run in good cool air using the TransBrake.
