APPLE has bought the rights to make a film about Formula 1, reports the famous F1 journalist Vincenzo Landino. The film’s budget is believed to be $ 140 million, starring Brad Pitt. The film will be directed by Joseph Kosinski, director of Top Gun: Maverick, and the main producers will be Jerry Bruckheimer and seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton.

According to information available so far, Brad Pitt will play a retired driver and compete against the strongest in the team with a young driver. Apple bought the rights to the film on the wave of growing popularity of Formula 1 in the United States, which was also contributed by the Netflix series Drive to Survive.
