To remind ourselves, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, in its latest five-year plan (introduced on June 1), predicted seven new Alfa Romeo innovations, including two sports models of the 8C and GTV.
The new Alfa Romeo 8C will get a carbon fiber chassis, a centrally installed 2.9 liter twin-turbo V6 engine, an electrified front axle and a combined power of 700+ hp (some magazines mention all 800 hp) as well as all-wheel drive and system torque vectoring.
Bearing in mind all this, it is not surprising that acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h will be less than three seconds in some estimates.
The new 8C could be on sale in 2021, again in a limited series. It is expected to produce a maximum of 1,000 copies, at a price of about 250,000 pounds per sample …
