2018 Ford Focus

After more than seven years on the market (introduced in January 2010), it’s time for a whole new generation of Ford’s legendary hot hatch – Focus.


The blue oval is already preparing the all new Ford Focus, which is expected to arrive on the market in the first half of the 2018, according to German Auto Bild. Until then, in front of us are the new unofficial renderings that show the possible look of the new Focus hatchback in the five-door version, created by the Auto Bild.
According to the latest rumors, the new Focus is expected to come outfitted with numerous new safety and driver assistance systems and new infotainment system. Also, is expected to feature a longer wheelbase, shorter rear overhang, slightly offset A-pillars, a more spacious interior and to be 50 kg lighter than the current model.


In addition to the hatchback, the new Focus will be offered as a sedan and station wagon (some sources mention and the two-door Coupe). Engine options will include three and four-cylinder engines (in the range between 100 hp and 360 hp), as well as plug-in hybrid version. There will also be a Focus Electric with the autonomy of about 450 km. Besides the Trend, Titanium, ST-Line and ST, we also expect the luxury Vignale and the sporty RS version with all-wheel drive.
