1967 Shelby GT350 Fastback Is Up For Sale

1967 Shelby GT350 Fastback for sale at the Mecum Auctions To be sold at the Kissimmee 2022 auction, Kissimmee, FL, January 6-15, 2022.A quick glance at the Gary Thomas Collection crossing the block at Kissimmee shows how much he likes red Mustangs. So much so, in fact, that this 1967 Shelby GT350 was originally Lime Gold but was repainted red with white stripes during its restoration. It does, though, retain its matching-numbers 289 CI High-Performance V-8. The 306 HP HiPo V-8 is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and has been fitted with the Extra Cooling Package to keep the motor at prime operating temperature during high-performance driving. Power steering and power brakes became standard equipment in 1967. The 10-spoke alloy wheels, here wrapped by Goodyear Speedway tires, were a popular option.
